This is Susan's 1973 Standard Beetle. I am restoring it for her as a kind of peace offering I guess, for her letting me build a Fiberglass Dune Buggy from a 1971 Standard Beetle purchased at the same time as this one. These pics are from before I started working on it. I gotta lot of work to do!!

Here we see pics of the floor pan immediately following the removal of the body. As you can see from these photos, this beetle had alot of rust. Both pan halves will need to be replaced, as well as many other parts. The foot print gas pedal will be saved though!!

These next pics are after tearing down the front end, removing the old floor pans, and tearing down the transaxle and drive train.
